- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Associated Bank is literally the worst financial institution that I have ever had the misfortune of doing business with. Between the outrageous NSF fees to the daily charges after that, we have been screwed out of over $500 dollars, thanks to this bank. We tried to close our accounts and pay our negative balances (from the fees that accrued, which we couldn't pay, because they were our only financial institution) and they wouldn't let us pay our fees or close our account. On top of that, the managers are extremely unfriendly and the tellers are very rude. We will never be doing business with Associated ever again, and are glad to have our hands clean of the place.
